Less invasive. Built to last.
Our protocols are designed to be as minimally invasive as possible and to avoid additional procedures, such as bone or gum grafts. The result: greater comfort and shorter treatment time.
Avoiding grafts, in most cases

Rather than rebuilding missing bone with a graft, the clinician tilts the implants at a calculated angle to anchor them where your bone is densest. In most cases, this approach avoids graft surgery — and the months of healing that come with it.
Straumann's titanium-zirconium Roxolid alloy is stronger than conventional titanium. This added strength allows smaller-diameter implants when bone volume is limited, which reduces the need for bone grafts.
Like a GPS, the X-Guide system displays the drill's position, angle, and depth live on a screen during surgery. The clinician sees exactly where the drill is relative to the 3D digital plan established in advance, and can adjust each implant's placement as they go. This precision supports a minimally invasive surgery: small openings only, with no unnecessary incisions.
These implants anchor in the pterygoid bone, at the back of the upper jaw — an area where bone remains dense even after tooth loss. They make it possible to provide back teeth (molars) without bone grafting, even when the rear bone is insufficient for conventional implants.

These manufacturers have been around for decades, and their implant systems are documented by numerous clinical studies. Choosing established brands also means that parts and components will remain available to service your prosthesis in the years ahead.
Zirconia is a highly resistant ceramic whose appearance is similar to natural teeth. Inside your final prosthesis, a metal framework distributes chewing forces across all the implants — a design made to last.
The occlusion — the way your upper and lower teeth meet — is a true engineering of chewing. Dr. Iorgovan, who has 15 years of experience in dental occlusion, designs the arrangement of the teeth so that forces are well distributed, contributing to the comfort and longevity of the prosthesis.

The treatment, step by step
From consultation to final prosthesis, every step is planned and explained in advance.
Consultation and examination
We take your health history, examine your mouth, and discuss your goals. You receive a written treatment plan with exact costs before making any decision.
3D X-ray and planning
A 3D scan (CBCT) of your jaws allows the position of each implant to be planned digitally, before surgery.
Surgery
The implants are placed in a minimally invasive way, guided by X-Guide technology. The next day, a fixed temporary prosthesis is installed: you regain your smile and your chewing right away. A soft diet is however required for the first few months, while the implants fuse with the bone.
Healing
The implants fuse with the bone (osseointegration) over approximately 4 to 6 months. Follow-up appointments are scheduled during this period.
Final prosthesis
The final zirconia prosthesis, reinforced with a metal bar, is custom-made, then adjusted and secured.
Long-term follow-up
As with natural teeth, regular examinations and maintenance are required. A night guard is included, and you will receive a written maintenance plan.
“My goal is to get my patients smiling and chewing again in the least invasive way, with a solution that lasts.

Trained under the leaders in this field, he partnered with Dr. Munteanu to help patients regain comfort when they chew and to make sure their teeth withstand chewing forces.
What are the options for replacing all the teeth in an arch?
Each option suits different situations. The examination determines which one best matches your oral condition, general health, and budget — it's one of the first things we discuss at your consultation.
Frequently asked questions
Generally, people whose teeth in an arch are missing, severely damaged, or beyond saving, and whose general health allows for surgery. Available bone is assessed with 3D imaging; thanks to the techniques described on this page, a graft is only needed in unusual cases. A definitive answer can only be given after the examination.
Surgery is performed under local anesthesia. Our minimally invasive approach aims to reduce discomfort; some discomfort is still possible in the following days and is usually well controlled with prescribed medication. Experiences vary from person to person.
From consultation to final prosthesis, typically 4 to 6 months, including healing time. The fixed temporary prosthesis is installed the day after surgery: you are not left without teeth. A soft diet is required for the first few months.
Implants are a long-term solution. Their longevity depends on hygiene, smoking, general health, and regular follow-up. The scientific literature reports high 10-year survival rates, but no duration can be guaranteed — which is why follow-up and maintenance matter.
Like any surgery, treatment carries risks: infection, failure of an implant to fuse with the bone, fracture of a prosthesis component, or, rarely, nerve involvement. These risks, and how we reduce them, are explained at the consultation before any decision.
Daily brushing, cleaning under the prosthesis with special floss or a water flosser, wearing the provided night guard, and professional maintenance appointments. A written maintenance plan is provided.
It depends on your plan. Dental implants are generally not covered by the RAMQ; some private insurance plans reimburse part of the cost. We provide a detailed estimate you can submit to your insurer before starting.
