A comprehensive solution designed to address the needs of fully edentulous (missing all teeth) patients in a comfortable, safe and long lasting way using dental implants.

We use the latest technology, the best implants on the market and experienced clinicians giving you the best treatment possible.

Using the latest technology – The digital workflow & guided implant placement

3D Xray maps precisely the bone structure

Scanners recreate a 3D model of your gums and remaining teeth

Advanced planification software allows for the optimal Implant positioning in the least invasive way

Finally, 3D Printed guides are used at the time of surgery for a precise and comfortable procedure

Advantages of guided implant placement ?

  • A less invasive procedure where often the implants are placed through a small 4mm hole instead of opening the gum. With this procedure we expect a faster and more comfortable healing.
  • A quicker procedure shortening the treatment time (at least 50% in our clinical experience)
  • Predictable Esthetic outcomes because the surgery is planned with the esthetic end result in mind.

Using the leading brand of Implants, Swiss made Straumann.

Straumann implants are the leading premium implant brand. Their system is versatile and comprehensive with high quality components made in Switzerland.

The main advantages to Straumann implants:

  • Roxolid material – Their titanium implants incorporate a small percentage of Zirconium increasing their strength. This allows for the possibility to use smaller and shorter implants to accommodate patients that don’t have much bone and would usually require additional bone grafts.
  • SLActive surface – The surface of their implants is unique and integrates faster to bone than regular implant surfaces. This allows for faster treatments.
  • A lifetime warranty offered by Straumann.

Under supervision of experienced clinicians, under one roof.

At Blanc, under the supervision of Dr. Dan Munteanu, who has over 13 years of experience with dental implants, we have acquired and integrated advanced technology to be able to accommodate our patients from start to finish in the most comfortable setting.

What are the steps to the treatment?

The treatment begins with a consultation where you will meet the dentist who will examine your particular case and offer you different treatment plans according to your needs and budget. Once established that a Pro-Arch fixed solution is the right treatment for you, we take a 3D Xray and a dental scan of your teeth and gums.  The case is then digitally planned and 3d guides are printed to assist with the implant placement.

Implant placement phase

At your second appointment, the implants are placed often using a non invasive procedure and a temporary solution is given, often fixed to the implants.

Third and Forth appointments are usually check-ups and adjustments to the temporary.

Final Restaurative phase

Once your implants are healed (2 to 6 months), the final Zirconia or Zirconia over metal Final restoration is created in generally 2-3 appointments.

Follow up phase

Regular maintenance and check ups every 4 to 6 months are required to ensure treatment longevity.

What are the advantages of a fixed full arch restoration on implants?

  • Stability and Functionality:
    • Improved chewing and speech: Fixed full-arch restorations provide stability and support, allowing patients to comfortably chew and speak without the fear of the prosthesis shifting or falling out.
    • Mimics natural teeth: The prosthesis closely resembles natural teeth in terms of appearance, function, and comfort.
  • Bone Preservation:
    • Preservation of jawbone: Implants integrated into the jawbone stimulate bone growth, preventing bone loss that typically occurs when natural teeth are lost. This helps maintain the structure and shape of the face.
  • Aesthetics:
    • Natural appearance: The restoration is custom-made to match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth, resulting in a natural and aesthetically pleasing smile.
  • Comfort:
    • No discomfort or sore spots: Unlike removable dentures that may cause sore spots and discomfort, fixed full-arch restorations are anchored securely and do not put pressure on the gums.
  • Longevity:
    • Durable and long-lasting: With proper care and maintenance, implant-supported full-arch restorations can last a lifetime.
  • Confidence:
    • Enhanced self-esteem: The stability and natural appearance of these restorations can boost self-confidence and improve the quality of life for individuals who have experienced tooth loss.
  • Speech Improvement:
    • Better speech: Fixed full-arch restorations can help improve speech clarity by providing a stable and consistent platform for articulation.
  • Improved Taste and Enjoyment of Food:
    • Restored ability to taste: Since the palate is not covered, patients can enjoy the full taste of their food, enhancing their dining experience.

What are the main disadvantages of a fixed full arch restoration on implants?

  • Maintenance – The most common problem we see with dental implants is bone loss with time around an implant which happens if the implants are not properly cleaned at home and periodically cleaned by your hygienist. Once bone loss starts around the implant it is hard to stop or to correct and could reduce the lifespan of the treatment from a lifetime to a couple of years.
  • Certain health conditions such as diabetes, or smoking, lead to accelerated bone loss and could result in this treatment failing prematurely. We recommend you discuss this issue with your dentist and understand what other treatment plans exist that might be better suited for your needs.
  • Expensive repairs without proper maintenance. If bone loss happens due to lack of cleaning or other issues and an implant needs to be replaced, the fixed restoration might need to be replaced as well. An alternative to consider is the snap on full arch solution that can be easily repaired.

How is ProArch different from Nobel All on 4?

Nobel All on 4 is a proven system of a fixed restoration on 4 implants using angled implants.

Pro arch concept is similar but allows for more versatility than angled implants due to the Straumann short or narrow implant types, strong zirconia infused material, and fast integrating surface. Both systems are excellent and have strong studies backing their success.

When should I consider a removable full arch implant solution instead of a fixed one?

  • If you will have difficulty cleaning it due to lack of dexterity or discipline, we recommend a removable solution which is quicker and simpler to clean daily.
  • If you are looking for a more affordable solution.

All-on-4 Dental Implants Full Arch

It can be embarrassing to have teeth that are missing, but tooth loss can also seriously harm your health, ability to talk, and bite.

In order to support a personalised denture and replace a whole arch of lost teeth, All-on-4® dental implants provide an immediate, strong base.

Patients with missing teeth are aware of the challenges that come with having gaps in their smile, but may not be aware of how much of an effect it can have on their overall health.

The roots of a tooth do more than just hold it in place; they provide important signals to the underlying tissue, keeping the jawbone strong. When a tooth is lost, the lack of signals starts a slow process of bone wasting which can lead to further tooth loss and an aged appearance.

Dental implants are the best tooth replacement option available, and act like real teeth. The titanium or ceramic posts of implants act like bionic tooth roots, providing a stable platform for restorations, while also sending signals to the jawbone, halting further bone loss.

Who Makes an Ideal Candidate for All-on-4 Implants?

In order to be eligible for the dental implant surgery that is necessary for an All-on-4 restoration, one must be in good health and have no medical conditions that could interfere with the healing process or the success of the treatment.

Dental Sedation Alternatives to Provide Maximum Relaxation

On the day of your All-on-4 implant surgery, our dentist will administer local anesthesia to your gums to ensure your comfort. If needed, additional sedation may be given to help you relax throughout the procedure. This way, you can remain calm and at ease while the surgery is being performed.

At our dental practice, we offer conscious sedation options such as nitrous oxide and oral sedation for patients who need mild to moderate sedation. For those who are more anxious about visiting the dentist, IV sedation is available. This allows our dentists to perform dental implant placement while the patient is in a relaxed state.

This makes it possible for even the most nervous patients to receive the treatments they need to get their smile back.
